For example:
Triumph Stag Original Quality Parts
The Stag Owners Club Tooling Fund Ltd (SOCTFL) is a company limited by guarantee that is owned by the members of the Stag Owners Club. Its
mission is to assist in the development of quality parts that are no longer available or are difficult to source.
Managed by a group of volunteer Directors and Committee members with extensive experience of automative engineering. Working in conjunction with manufacturers and suppliers, they are able to assist with the design and production of tooling that ensure the parts conform to original specifications. As a result purchasers of parts bearing the SOCTFL logo can be assured that they are fit for purpose and will fit well.
Most recently SOCTFL have collaborated with manufacturers and suppliers of two plastic products. The projects involved many hours of CAD development by a committee member with years of experience to enable the tooling to be made. Tooling that is owned by SOCTFL.
As with all SOCTFL projects a manufacturer and main supplier also needed to be found and contracts agreed.
The first such product is the chrome plated door handle bowls. They come as a kit including two bowls, two gaskets, fixing bolts and fitting instruction. To date over 500 sets have been sold. Available from E.J..

The second product is the chrome plated Air Intake Grill. Available from Robsport International, £199.99 retail. SOCTFL negotiated a 25% discount for SOC members for this product.

Both products really enhance the appearance of the car.
