I'm going to the Spa 1000km in May and am contemplating taking the Stag. Is anyone else going who might like to ride in convoy? Peter.

Unfortunately that coincides with the start of my 3,000 mile European tour - France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland - and that weekend I’ll be driving my Stag from England to Barcelona. Otherwise I’d be glad to make the trip to Spa.

Might do Spa in '26, but for 25 it's the Le Mans Classic.

wilf I've been to the LM24 every year since 1986 but it's too busy now, hence Spa. The LM classic sounds good though - you've been before I guess?

Yes - went in '23 - my Stag's first "big trip" ( I know a mere 1000 mile jaunt to France and back pales in comparison with what some do, but hey, it was my first!).Thoroughly enjoyed it, and going back next year armed with knowledge of what is where and how it all works, so expecting to see more "stuff", also visiting the D-Day beaches and museums on the way back. Also hoping for as trouble-free a trip as in '23, when the car never missed a beat.

Did the Laon Historique this year, also good fun, although exploring the Somme battlefield and museums on the way back was a sobering experience. Again, the car drove perfectly.

Envious of this trip…. Always wanted a European trip in my stag. Planned to do the last Swiss esm…. That was was when the pump gears went for the 3rd time…. Kyboshed the trip…. Not enough time to fix.
