Sorry everyone me again, am I right in thinking thrust side of the both banks is on near side of engine right hand drive stag. And is there any real advantage to nickel plated cylinder head studs and bolts. Probably will be more questions as I go along with rebuild. Apologies in advance. Many thanks Steve.

Afaiaa originally stag head studs were actually chrome plated…. Although it didn’t seem to prevent seizure.
Believe the nickel won’t help much either.
An aluminium anti seize compound does though….
one such compound available is sas anti seize.
Dont use copper grease…. It makes galvanic corrosion worse.
