    Window Frame Gap

Hello all, my newly-acquired Stag has quite a gap at the top front edge of the window frames - so much so, that I thought I hadn't shut the door properly on the test drive! I'm assuming once I get the interior trim off the doors, there will be some sort of adjustability? Thanks

    Hi Simon,
I had same problem with mine when I bought it last year.
From memory there are 2 nuts welded on near the middle of the frame and 2 welded on bolts that hold the frame to the door near the bottom, 2 are accessed by removing the rubber bungs in the trailing edge of the door and the other 2 are accessed when you remove the door cards. If you slacken them slightly you can then push the top edge of the frame inwards a bit but drop the glass down fully before you do it so you don't put undue pressure on the glass and break it.
Not sure if it's a up/down adjustment you need or an in/out adjustment. If it's an up/down adjustment you might have to do a bit of drilling to elongate the holes that the bolts fit through to allow upward adjustment.
Is it definitely the frame that needs adjustment or has the door dropped a bit? The door can also be adjusted as well if needed.
    Hope that helps.
