If you can't get your power steering lines to seal at the rack end, before buying new lines, you may want to take a look at these olives which sit in the rack. The larger one is for the low pressure line. If you look carefully, at the bottom one, you can see the flare at the end of the pipe has made a groove in it. No matter how much you tighten the line, the flare on the end wont clamp down beyond that groove. The top olive has been machined smooth.

They also leak from the top. There is an O-ring in the control unit. That O-ring does not come in the rebuild kit. With the crappy cold weather here in Northern California, I've been sitting on a rack or two in my garage. I'm writing an article for the local Stag club. id be happy to share.

I thought that the o ring on the top of the spool valve was a pioneer Nu lip rotary seal, have the number here somewhere and it was in the kit, pioneer number lip seals had a chamfer on the side for fitting into internal machined grooves, quad seal didn't and would wear quickly as they would not seat properly. we used to to used hundreds of them in injection moulding unscrewing tools."The UK,s 2nd Most Easterly Stag" Quad Exhaust- ZF 4 Speed BOX

If you dismantle the control valve completely., you will find a torsion bar in it. At either end of the bar sits a small O-ring. This O-ring can leak. Here is a long video I made: https://youtu.be/j2jJ2p855CE?si=1_lc_eospIZWcAR9
I have a 0101 O-ring in it.
