Evening everyone, So my Borg 35 has a leak from the opposite side of the gear box where the selector runs through if you know what I mean. Has anyone had this problem and could recommend the best way to stop/seal up the leak without removing the 'box.
thanks Mike

you mean the dipstick side? drivers side or RH side?
dipstick tube might have failed.
the gearbox breather pipe may not be connected

Or the TC non return valve is dicky and when left parked for a few days the fluid drains back from the TC and into the gearbox sump which this overflows up the dipstick tube.
The fluid dribbles back down the outside of the dipstick tube and more oft than not onto the RH / Drivers exhaust down pipe
Stags and Range Rover Classics - I must be a loony
Hi Richard, yes I'm aware of TC drainback and the dipstick is fine it's actually on the left side where the kickdown cable is, there's a little round seal where the selector rod runs through the gearbox
