    Ignition problem

I need help with an electrical problem, if anyone would have any ideas would be much appreciated for my1972 MK1 Stag.

I drove it out the garage today, cleaned it then went to start it to move it and it turned over 1/2 an engine crack ….. then nothing. Radio works on single turn of the key but goes off on the second turn with now power to anywhere (internal door light are working). Thought it’s probably the ignition switch so removed the cowls and tested switch, brown is live with ignition off and small white becomes live in position 1. Turn to position 2 and all wires go dead including the main brown live feed, any ideas ?

Battery connections loose/corroded? Ditto engine earth strap or starter connections?

Assuming battery is OK - what voltage to you get across it?
