Second time I've nearly removed a finger. Will look for steel gloves.
Sill nearly done. Not beautiful welding but it seems solid enough. Had to chase a lot of holes up the rear "c" post, and put some patches in but I think I have got on top of it.
0.6mm steel did the trick for the patch in the rear wheel arch. Again not beautiful but hoping I can cover all that with seam sealer.
Sprayed it all with primer to keep it from going rusty but will go over all of it with a skim of filler and sand it back for proper painting.
Just the front wing panel and another wheel arch patch to cut and weld now. Might actually get it out of the garage soon to try and start that engine thats been stood for 20 years.....
