    Carb breather pipe layout

I have a Fed. Stag and the hose coming forward goes to the carbon canister. I have never been able to get the hoses to sit right. I think the hose to the cam cover is too long, but if I make it much shorter, the hose to the left carb interferes with the accelerator mechanism. I do see how the hose to the right hand carb should be, but as mentioned, if I push everything further left. the left hose gets in the way. Should I trim the right hand hose at both ends?

I was working with the same situation recently after fixing inlet manifold leaks, I needed to trim all three hoses connecting with the T-piece to get the best compromise. I use the tool I usually use for cutting PVC conduit or waste pipes, it make a very neat cut on any on any of the Stag's rubber pipes or hoses.
