I have just removed while insitu the heater valve which was seized cleaned it up fitted new o ring and replaced noticed that the green cable clip was hanging off is it possible to put this green clip on without taking the whole front console off btw it’s the awkward one that controls the heater valve had a hour or to at it can nearly get it clipped on but not quite any suggestions would be welcome

why not get something like a pipe clamp, drill a small hole in a suitable location and use a self tapper to hold the cable outer secure. Been a very long time but I certainly invented some new swear words when I last found the heat control cable had come loose.
Bresco is my go to but the website is glacially slow tonight. wonder if they have the same host.

Run out of plaster half way through fitting the clip I am still one green clip missing if anyone has one I could purchase I would be gratefulComment

it must have the dimple to grip properly….
was originally a green clip;
some places are supplying a choke cable clip instead, which might fit , but won’t grip….. sorry to say.Comment
