Fuel tank pick up

Hi the all knowing
the stag has been going fantastically however a few weeks ago she kept slowing down jumping then would pick up as if nothing happened
all came to ahead yesterday when she just stopped
Luckily I had a green fuel can in the boot which I used for testing the TR7 so was a back up tank
plugged it into the pump and off we went as if nothing happened
so my question is
is there a filter on the fuel tank pick up and if so is it cleanable?

No, there isn't. Well not on my car anyway. However, there might be rust or something intermittently blocking the end of it.

no filter in the tank, may be a filter in your pump though.

Might be worth checking your pick up pipe for obstruction. Especially so if you have recently treated the tank to an internal coating of ethanol friendly paint
