Annoying hood failure

On the recent Grand Tour (3,000 miles, 5 countries, 3 weeks) the zip gave way on the rear screen on my hood. Most of the time the hood was stowed, but one night there was a thunderstorm and torrential rain and it was difficult to prevent the ingress of water!

Can anyone recommend a specialist that could replace the zip for me? The hood is generally in excellent condition.

I believe it is all nigh impossible to replace the zip without taking the hood off the frame. You could ask Jim at South Eastern Trimmers. 07931 507879.
