    stag badges

I have recently fitted new Stag badges to the rear wings , I have used the original adhesive tape which came with them and double sided number plate fixing tape. Both have fallen off , the base plate is clean and even , can anyone advise as to the best way to permanently fix these badges.

Did you wipe the holder with some kind of spirit cleaner before you applied the tape? You’ll probably have to use something like tiger seal or something slightly less enduring but similar. Tiger Seal is a bit “sledgehammer to crack a nut” but it will work for sure.

Thanks your prompt reply .Yes I cleaned vcery thoroughly , I am now thinking of Loctite 595 superflex , but how do I get sticky backing off badges or do I leave on and put adhesive on sticky tape.

I might worry that some adhesives would discolour the back of the badge, lots of these super glues etc will fog clear plastics and melt paint. I might be inclined leave the adhesive tape on the back of the badge, especially as it is so difficult to remove and find something to stick that to the holder
