I have an inlet manifold which has been modified to take a weber. The bridge between the two halves have been cut. I have managed to connect a ZS set of carbs on it. I think I have it 100% air tight. An engine I'm testing fires briefly when I put fuel directly down the cars, but wont continue to run. A suggest from Terry Hunt is to check the timing. I have not done that yet. The carbs were taken off a running car.
The question is, besides each carb feed different bank cylinders, will removing the bridge hinder starting? I'm aware the original manifold has some small hole between the bridge.
