    Flywheel dowel pins

    Looking to remove the dowel pins from the flywheel any suggestions? Also need to put them back or put new ones back again suggestions please.

    I found a cheap brake flaring tool and use the pipe clamp to grab round objects like that. only issue is u have the flywheel on the engine so space maybe limited.

        I ordered one from Rimmers and it was shorter than the two I had. next time I'll order 3 at the same time

          Speaking from experience make absolutely sure when you re fit them they are a solid fit not likely to come out.

          I had a rumble in what I thought was the drive line for around 3 years and after replacing the diff, drive shafts, several prop shafts engine mounts, gearbox mounts etc., It was eventually traced back to there being only one dowel left in place. this caused the clutch cover to shimmy on the one that was left and the mounting bolts at low revs.
          It was one of those annoyances that could drive anyone mad!

            If I remember, they were tight when I put them in so should be ok size wise, hope this helps.
