Removing brass cage of water pump from the block

Does anyone have a photo of a simple tool they made to remove the brass cage of the water pump from the block? I've used brute force in the past, but I have a few to do and my 22 year old said he will eventually take one of the Stags I have. I got him to pull the water pump out with a slide hammer. The shaft is labeled Zephyer so I have a good one.

        This is the Kryten tool.
Bar is about 34mm long to fit under the cage.
        Bolt is M10 x 100mm.
