Can I ask that from this question you are contemplating converting your car to LHD ? If the answer is Yes I think there will be much more to consider IF such a conversion is possible.
Are we talking about the complete plastic covered dash here or as I suspect just the wooden dash that holds the instruments.. Referred as "Facia Panel" in the wiring diagrams.
It looks like it may work? As long as the vent hole and cluster hole are the same diameter. The vent fixing would need to be sorted and the rheostat would switch sides.. but like you I only have the LHD version to look at.
Not practical really, the height of the instrument fascia is about 130 mm at the inboard end vs about 120 at the outboard end, so it would have to turned upside down to swap between left and right apertures. This would need the positions of the fixing screws to be moved, plus some other holes as above. If you were intending to re-veneer it would be possible to fill unwanted holes and cut new ones but you'd probably not want to invest the hours needed to do this other than for a rare car where there was no prospect of finding a salvaged part. If I was doing this for a Stag I'd look for a salvaged part.
Yes, very likely - given that there are variations in holes for brake light, seat belt warning light, and hazard light switch it might help to send Tony a picture of the fascia you already have.
