Replacement Keys

Evening all,
My Stag came with only one set of keys, any suggestions of where I can get more sets cut. I have ordered some blanks in case I struggle and need to reproduce myself (Obtained key code for blank from previous forum comments). I have looked but struggle to find anyone who does them due to the age of the car.

As long as you have the correct blanks I wouldn't think there be a problem for any reputable locksmith shop to copy your originals.

If your original keys have numbers on them you can buy replacement keys on ebay etc. The glove box key number is inside lock and same with boot.

I was in a similar position and obtained duplicates from Timpson. I had to wait for them to get the blanks in to the local store as they didn't have them on the shelf - and having ordered 2 blanks one of them was sidelined before I got to it, so had to wait for a third to come. But it all got sorted out in the end. The blank for the ignition / door key is SILCA and stamped "UNI 19", and the boot / glove box key is JMA and stamp "UN FS".

My local Timpson wouldn't cut blanks not supplied by them, but duplicating an existing key yourself by clamping both key and blank together in a vice and using a small file takes about 5 minutes.
