Need a new clutch slave cylinder

    Hi campers,
I have tried our usual traders and they don't have any.
Does anyone have or know where one can get a clutch slave cylinder from?
    Cheers
    Steve

That surprises me as it’s the same as TR3-6 did you try TR specialists?

Are you after a particular brand?

Out of curiosity I had a quick look-see, there one on Ebay from Retro Spares Limited https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/185845313852 for £24.95 with part no UKC 8677 and Mick Dolphin is listing a used UKC 8677 for £15.00 on his Triumph 2000 list http://www.mickdolphin.co.uk/Files/2...ist%200425.pdf (apparently was working). Haven't looked further but there's a couple of possibilities, and of course Tony White may be able to help.

Rimmers are good for that, click on the part and it lists the other cars the part fits..

when it comes to slave cylinders I recently (maybe last year) found out about the long throw slave from J paddocks. transformed the bite point from 1cm off the floor to mid point.

How was the clutch feel? Any heavier?

What I found with a TR6 cylinder which I bought, only one side, the side which mates to the engine plate, is machined flat the other side is not. The side which is not machine is what the Stag uses. I ground down the casting marks.

                            Was it a TKC2786, Landrover Discovery 1 & Rangerover Classic ?

                            TKC2786 is 7/8" or 22.2mm bore
                            UKC8677 is 1" or 25.4mm bore

The 7/8" bore cannot give a lighter pedal feel - basic hydraulic principles.

Not sure if it helps, but part no TKC2786 is shown on page 21-20 of the "Triumph 2000TC & 2500TC (1975 onward) Parts Catalogue" from commission no ML21470 onwards, prior to this it is 211061 - apologies for any duplication of prior knnowledge.
