Hi everyone, I bet you know what I’m going to say. Trying to sort wiper switch, whilst taking apart ping springs and ball bearings shot off in different directions. My question is how many springs and ball bearings are there I’m guessing two of each. I have found two springs and one bearing. I don’t suppose by any chance anyone has a spare bearing kicking about. if the switch is similar to 1970s Range Rover, both being British Leyland and both switches coming from Lucas I am going to guess that they are.
I seem to recall the last time I did the job the balls were 3/16", however you can confirm by measuring your remaining ball 4.8mm or there abouts
Most bike repair shops should have a few in a box else something like
Stags and Range Rover Classics - I must be a loony -
