Pretty much the worst Saturday of my life

I had a phone call from the vet's first thingto say that my dog died overnight after being rushed in on Friday, still feeling somewhat devastated (I know he was only a dog etc etc)

We've sold SWMBO's MG, but it needed a new MOT and failed (I've sorted that now, just a bit of welding)

And then just to finish me off I did this to the rear screen on the Stag...

Sorry aboutyour dog Kevin, been there and been equally devastated, got a couple of rescued Westies at the moment and dread anything happening to them.

Also had similar issues with my hood, sometimes life just wants to give you a kick in the kna*k*ers and then give you another kick whilst your down, hope things get better soon.

Actually i wanted to say sorry about your hood!
But really i wanted to say so sorry about your dog,im a cat person but i know what its like to loose a pet.

Hi Kevin,sorry to hear about your dog.....know how you must feel as we lost one of ourdogs around easter due to illness;we still miss him as he was such a character. hope u can sort the stags back window.

So sorry to hear of your loss Kev, I know how it feels, we lost Ginger the cat in an accident many years ago and still talk about his mischievous character. But how did you manage to damage the hood?

Hi Kevin, only a dog ? deepest sympathy mate.
Back screen looks quite bad, try a hair dryer to get it flat, then trickle vynalweld onto the seam that forms, then polish with Mothers or any good plastic polish, it's not going to vanish, but should work. That really WAS a ****ty day. Martin.

A moment of self-indulgence with a pic of my pooch taken just couple of weeks ago. (my boy seems to coping better than me and SWMBO so far)







The damage to the hood was caused by the fixings that I used to fit the Tomcat seats, I've now cut them shorter!

I think I'll treat myself to a new hood, the zip was knackered and the hood was getting a bit tatty anyway.
