iPhones are great things.

Being overseas, I just learned via sky news that the "boy" has left Downing Street with the family and Dave has been with "Liz" to take over the poisoned chalice.

To my surprise, I log on and NOTHING, not a mention on the forum. Are we all out partying or just plain scared for the future?

Anyway, celebrated with a couple of glasses of wine and now look forward to ash clouds and 4 weeks of BA strikes.

Religion

All these subjects are far to emotive and detract from discussing serious matters like cars/bikes:dude:

IMHOI think the UK as just entered a very dark period for us all as the Con's will cock it up and look after the wealthy as always:?

Personally I danced a jig of delight as that tw@t left Downing Street. Thanks Gordon for shafting my pension and moving the goalpost on tax free status for classics. Oh and the small matter of bankrupting the country; not that it'll worry you with your gold plated government pension.

PS I reckon he should fund the by-election out of this own pocket. He was an MP for 5 days? If he wasn't prepared to serve the full termhe shouldn't have stood,yet more tax payers money wasted.

Tired of reading about it to be honest........ if the fix-term legislation doesn't get in quickly we can start a sweep on the next election date

i just changed a bunch of flights today, but can't do much about the ash have a couple of extra wines

I agree that politics and emotive subjects should be left out of the forum or at least put another category where people can "vent their spleen" on non-Stag related issues. How about pre-fixing it with "non-Stag related" so that I don't end up reading such threads by mistake?

The Triumph 2000 Register has a separate section for general discussions and the Club Triumph forum never "drifts" onto such subjects. Just my opinion, I certainly won't lose any sleep over it....
