Nothing serious, I hope, I was searching through previous threads and found fitting instructions for a PMA 50 Lumenition Power module.
I just wanted to reassure myself where the red wire was connected. The unit as previously fitted to the car was installed with reams of wire, that I believed made it useful for many cars, which seemed unsightly when bound up with tie wraps etc. I cut the connector off and shortened the wires, reconnected the connector, the result being a neat short wire run.
Subsequently, down loading the wireing instruction I read the the section relating to the optical switch, and found that d) states "DO NOT CUT WIRES"!
Crap! What have I done?
Any one know why the instructions would say that?
