Paddocks front floor pans different profile any suggestions

Gent's just had a call from my panel beater and he is telling me that the profile on my new front footwells doe's not match the old profile i.e. the diagonal profiles.

Can't understand why this is or how to get round it. What he tells me is that he will have to fit both front and rear to have it all matched. To be honest he has lost me a bit

Any idea or suggestions as he is 50 miles from me here and can't get through until tomorrow

I don't understand that. I had a Paddock front floor a couple of months ago and it looked ok - the only difference I noticed was that the big hole was not a hole, if you know what I mean

The other side of mine had been plated so it was a bit difficult to compare but it's all fitted ok.

The only 'problem' I had - and someone else mentioned it in a post a while ago - was that the panel was slightly twisted but my bodyshop guy said it wasn't a problem.

Is he fitting the entire panel or just part of if? There was a topic a while back with a picture of the Paddock floors which I can't find :X

IIRC the profile was different to the original floor so you'd have to fit the whole panel. The SOCTFL floor are an exact match so may be the better option if you're cutting and shutting

Guys
I bought a front floor pan from Rimmers and found that the depth of the stiffening ribs was much less than the original panel. Clearly the pressing was not made from original tooling. I only used part of the panel and a good panel beater can massage the metal to match existing. My panel had the large diameter drain hole in it but I notice that some don't - might cost you a concours point!

Thanks for that gent's have decided to completely remove front and rear and replace with full fron & rear. At least I'll know it won't have to be done again in my lifetime.
