I've never actually changed any of the sprockets.
The ones on my car musthave done at least 100,000 miles. I really don't believe in changing parts without good reason, particularly when there is a very real possibility that the new parts will not be up to the job.
Fortunately, I have a set of newOEM parts so when I do replace everything I will be as confident asI can thatI am fitting decent parts. The only decision will be whetherto fit the Renold chains or go for the BMW ones.
