So, can I just check? - are you all saying that the top pipefrom the heater should go to the hose to the left hand head and the bottom one connects to the short hose that is connected to the metal pipe through the vee ??
I took both off the other day and then, stupidly, couldn't remember which went where. I looked at a number of pictures and it seemed to be the way I've described above.
However, shortly afterwards I was talking to Peter at LD Parts - who is amazingly knowledgeable - and he suggested that a) it didn't really matter which way the flow went through the heater matrix and b) that 'officially' it should be the other way around (Ie top heater outlet connects to pipe down the vee.
Now I'm confused :?- although does it really matter which one goes where?
But, as Peter from LD Parts said, does it matter which way the water flows through the heater matrix?
Probably not,I'm just saying that the water come out of the back of the head not goes in that way as the drawing suggests which would confuse people using this diagram to try and understand the coolant flow of their engine.
