Goodbye to my first Stag

Well, the day had to come when I would part company with my first Stag "Ursula1". She has presented an ever increasingly depressing sight as I have dismantled her. The majority of the parts being transferred over to the "Ursula2" which is lurking in the garage.

"Tristan" the GT6 looks on with interest as "Ursula1" is loaded onto a trailer for her new life in Hull.

My Harland & Wolfe crane came in useful for the lift. I am curious as to how they were going to unload her at the other end:?

On a positive note I am very happy with the money I got for her on e-bay.

After "Ursula1" departed I then proceeded to clean up the driveway and the Nissan's boot is now full of two BW35 gearboxes and apropshaft which I will be weighing in at the scrappie tomorrow. So I have earned some brownie points with SWMBO

Hi Bruce

You did well selling that...it will be very interesting to see if Ursula re-emerges in the future in another form. Don't think my wife would have been as tolerant as yours has been though,with a car on bricks outside the house for a year.

The buyer reckoned the shell was in better condition than the one he is planning onrestoring so "Ursula1" will hopefully live on

As regards being on bricks, I used wood, which is more socially acceptable

His mate is in the SOC andvisited the Forum but never posted. The new owner is not in the SOC.
