Hi all, does anybody know a gentle way of getting the pin stripes off ? I've tried a hair dryer to no effect and I don't dare risk a hot air gun. :? Martin.

Parking it in the sweltering hot June sun might help.
My car's previous owner scraped the wing along the garage wall but I wouldn't recommend that (Tip from Europe

To get sign writing off vehicles I use a wallpaper steam stripper. I take the pad off and just use the steam coming out of the pipe.

try petrol or lighter fluid they both seemes to work for me
PS dont have a naked flame near either fluid though :P
