Ash Tray

Dear All

Has anyone converted the space where the ash tray is, into a cubby hole?
As a non-smoker, it just seems a wasted space in the car

Andrew I have thought about this before also, but to be honest I have left it as it's a feature that you just don't see in cars anymore. My Discovery has,nt even got a cigar lighter. I am in the process of recarpeting the old lady and have just had done the console & seat belt thing and did think to myself whats the point of putting back in the ash tray, but then thought to myself no cars would have a chromed ash tray supplied today. Hope this make's sense, I'm certainly not a purist

Good place for a clock if you have fitted an oil pressure gauge.
