    missfire on acceleration

my friend's stag has started to missfire on acceleration. this happens more when the engine has warmed up. we have changed plugs, leads, dist cap, coil and we have also checked fuel supply, including filter, fuel pipes. the carbs have new jets, any ideas?

    Thanks Graham

Sounds like fuel starvation. Check the fuel filter andfuel pump. Is it worse with a nearlyempty tank (pump has to lift fuel higher)?
