Propshaft Yokes

Hi All

Can anybody confirm that the yoke on a BW35 propshaft is the same as the yokes on a Manual Overdrive Propshaft?

I am currently replacing the UJ's on my MOD prop and one of the circlip slots is damaged. I have a BW35 prop awaiting to go to the scrapyard and am wondering if I can plunder the yoke off it?

Hi Bruce,

The UJs are all the same. I assume you are talking about the rear joint as the front yoke of a BW35 is a spline type, not a flange type.

Yes I was referring to the rear yoke on the BW35 prop. I took it off and it looks identical so have just finished fitting itto the MOD prop.

Hopefully get the prop installed tomorrowas I have a day off workWith the family away I would get at least 12 un-interrupted hours on the car.
