Make sure you give the crankshaft oilways a REAL good wash out with solvent and blow thru with high pressures air, to make sure all the swarf from grinding is cleared - you don't want to contaminate the new bearings and pump with crap.......
Hi Dave, considering the state of the journals, and the condition of the oil pump, I think it says a lot for the Stag V8 that you were getting any oil pressure at all, your gauge was suggesting a worn bottom end, not a knackered one ! Martin.
