I need a valuation on the stag for the insurance company ,they have managed to misplace the last one , In the mag it says to get a form from SOC spares I thought they were a independent company now, do I still ask them and if so what is there phone number .

I got mine from them recently,you have to send a SAE and they will send you back a form, fill it out with some photos and a cheque for the fee. Comes back on club headed paper.
Funny you should say that John...... all 9 of my Dolomites had my name on the MOT certificate - it was very funny watching the coppers face when I got a "tug" and they were looking at the documents!
There was nothing in the rules to say I couldn't carry out and sign my own MOT, so I did, because I thought it was quite funny........
If I was ever queried I would tell them that I was the head tester and QC for the company (which was true) so they/I couldn't get a better MOT test - that was always worth a laugh I can tell you.
Back in the days, my company wouldn't let us do that! even though I was a nominated tester. Funny thing is none of my cars or the other guys cars ever failed a test:shock:
Just goes to show how a good technician keeps his motor tip top :P
