Reminds me of when a throttle cable broke on me.
Removed my tie and fixed itto the broken endand ran the car for a whole weekend and about 300 miles using it asa hand throttle :shock::shock:
Only problems were getting gear changes right at first and when it rained the tie soaked up all the water which then drained down my right arm !!
