Not Stag but WOW!

Hi All

Look at this on Car and Classic after a Stag my favourite Triumph had 2 already and if I had the money this would be the 3rd.

While i'm a big 2000/2.5 fan and like the look of this car, IMO the reality is that this is 1.5-2K overpriced - maybe the seller will get lucky.

I agree with you Andy but these cars in this kind of condition are so rare that like you say he may get lucky!

Shame he didn't post more pics but does look great - always liked the 2500's. Probably a bit rarer than the Stag.

Rarer yes...my dad bought a brand new 2.5PI in 72....8 years later he drove it to the scrap man due to terminal corrosion. They did not last when used as a normal everyday car back then!

My old man bought one (2000 Mk2) in 1974 due to his Ford Capri not being big enough for his then growing family! - Gave me the Triumph bug too ;-)
I showed him this one and he loved it.....
