    Gearbox drive flange

I am currently fitting a J type overdrive box and I have a Rover SD1 propshaft which is OK for length and fits the diff flange, but the hole spacing on thegearbox flange is wrong. I have no idea which flange is currently fitted

Does anyone know if the stag box has the same hole spacing as the diff flange?

Is it possible to fit a stag MOD propshaft either way round? If not then the hole spacings must be different. I can modify the flange if needs be, but don't want to make the mistake of sourcing a stag flange to find it is the same as the other one I have got.

It is definately different to the flange on a dolly sprint box I have got in the shed

    Thanks, Neil

The hole spacing's are the same for the A and J type flange and the diff flange and yes you can fit the prop shaft back to front.

Thanks for that, I will see if I can get hold of a proper stag flange
