Rear seat belt trim panel bezel

I've got around to fitting my rear seat belts this weekend

Presently I have cut a slit in the vinyl rear trim panel for the belt to pass through, but I know if I attempt to peel back and glue the vinyl I will make a hash of it or it will unglue etc.

I need a proper plastic bezel/guide to snap in place.

Is there a proper triumph part for this or alternative available...I am sure I am not the first!

I sourced our surrounds from the rear seats of a mid-90s Audi which have them in the actual seat back. These fit the Stag rear cubbies a dream and look the part too in textured black plastic.

At the scrapyard I simply cut the seatbelt to remove but sliding them over the Securon seatbelts in the Stagjust needed some care. Warmed up the plastic surrounds to stop any splitting and opened up the aperture to squeeze the seatbelt through.

They come in 2 halves, a front and back piece which sandwich the vinyl in between, I strengthed the vinyl on the rear first with gaffer tape and cleanly punched small holes to take the fixing pegs.

Pic is from a US ebay listing a few years ago.

My cubbies have these fitted. I could not understand when a friend of mine(stag owner) got all excitedabout them. Never knew they were hard to get, having said that, I have not got rear selt belts fitted as yet.

        Sukh.

the classic mini's (later mpi models) have some of these trims fitted in the rear cubbies as well - they are not the same as the stag ones but will do the job and look factory imo
