timing 180 degrees out? but still running

    Guys,

When I align the timing mark on the crank to 12 deg BTDC on the scale the rotor arm is pointing almost exactly 180 degrees out. How is this corrected?

The car runs, but rough - some of you will recall my varying threads regarding lumpy running. Should have checked this first of course, but we live and learn.

    Any comments, greatly received!

    Cheers,

    Matt.

    Forget last entry!!!!!

I had forgotten that the crank rotes 360 degress for every 180 deg in the dizzy - i THINK that's right anyway.

This is trivial, wait to next thread - destroyed distributor! and I hope not alot else!!

    Cheers,

    Matt.

      Hi Matt

Did you want me to come down on Sunday and have a look?

        Hi Stuart,

You may want to look at my latest post "destroyed distributor". I need to sort that first, but I really appreciate the offer.

        Best regards,

        Matt.
