    Don't want to insult you but have you checked the in line fuse. Then make sure you've got 12volts at the correct socket terminal and a good earth.

      hi, yeah i checked that inline fuse. and the one in the back of the radio all ok i have ordered a volt reader that should be here tomorrow..so i will post results when i know.

          I'm not sure how they compare in terms of quality of sound but it was just the fact they are 3 way. I have also managed to fit themunder the existing speaker hole in the dash and used the same fixing holes as the original, so no drilling.
