Goodwood - Soft top Sunday 27th. June

    Hi,

Is anyone going to 'Soft Top Sunday' Goodwood Breakfast club this weekend?

I am hoping to go and the weather forecast is good.

Can't do this one, got Mum staying. Went down to Somerset yesterday and brought her back to ours today, then take her back on Sunday morning, turn and burn back home again (in time for the footy hopefully)- all in the Stag though

        Hi,

Hoping nothing spoils my plans as I want to do this one, as a shake down before the Lemans Classic, so all going well I will see you there.

Just got my gbox in a lot easier than expected so if i finish all the prop ,exhaust etc in the next couple of days i could be up for it.

You're getting good at this, Steve.

Went to Somerset yesterday, checked the oil this morning before driving back, and it was on the minimum, so oil leak getting worse:shock:I did tear the sump gasket when removing the rear oil seal housing last time, so might be that. Otherwise my box will be coming off again to check the crank rear oil seal:X

Bummer , gutted for you Al.I got the box back up in 5 minutes ,Sat it on trolley jack and got it close ,put cable ties through some of the bolt holes ,rotated the output with it in 4th and gave it a shake then tightened up the cable ties a bit more, did that a couple of times and it was there.

                Cheers Steve

No Dave it's a stop gap replacement of the thrust bearing .I have done all the measuring i needed to do for the modwhilst it was apart though.

I find it's getting all the nuts and bolts back in that's the problem, rather than actually getting the box to line up.
