Found the Forum first after Googling. Saw that there was a "Member" suffix in profiles and thought this would open up new Forum possibilities to me if I joined. Went to SOC Website and saw that Members benefit from SOCTFL parts and so signed up.
Then found out that it didn't change anything Forum-wise nor did it give me any SOCTFL advantage.
The answer isn't 42, it's 1/137

No, started searching for a Stag and commenced a lot of research on the internet, which somehow produced the SOC forum, which produced a lot of advice which helped immensely when searching for the Stag I eventually purchased.
Joined the club and am looking forward to meeting some of you.
The forum was a great advertising tool, and I would venture to suggest that the club members might consider other forms of 'social networking' to expand the club and spread the word.

I bought my Stag and went looking for an on-line forum. Found this one and used it every day for a few months. Being a non SOC member and using the forum a lot, I felt obliged to pay up for my membership. A on-line mag would be ok for me instead of the extra expense of the mag. I think of the mag as a free bonus and reckon the subcription money alone for the forum is well worth it for the wealth of information and advice that can be had. Wether you live abroad or in UK this info can be had, I do both so well worth the money.
