It is a VW Corrado 16v. been well cared for and had an enormous amount of money & time spent on her

Not too bad the VR6 is faster but much more complicated if something goes wrong. She has a ported head and 4 branch manifold plus sports exhaust- so only about 150bhp but she handles like she is on rails

I always liked Corrado's...the 1.8lit G60 was supercharged and I always quite fancied one of those.

They are good buys now I think......essentially a nicer bodied Golf. Lot's you can do to them...and here's just one idea......

my Dad had a brand new 'storm VR6' in the mid 1990's, went like a rocket but did get very hot inside with all that black leather, small windows and lack of air con..........but that a side brilliant car.

I have owned VR6 engines for over13 years and they are a dream. Very smooth and quick. They are not to complicated at all. If you can look after a Stag I am sure these are breeze!
