Sorry David, I can't recall the make, I picked it up at a show for £8 a few years ago, definitely worth doing, I think people like Ratsport do them, and as Baz says Ebay is worth a look. Martin.
Hi all, I hought you might like to see why I fit a filter between thetank and the pump. Martin.
Does that mean Martin, the flow resistance of the filter has no negative effect on the suction properties of the pump and their output? And w/o this additional filter: was the "Earl Grey" beforehand collected in the fuelfilter in the engine bay?
Hiya Klaus, when I first got the car, I had endless fuelling problems, this muck was collecting in the pump valves and filter and reducing flow, this filter seemed a simple and obvious solution, and so it proved to be. There seems to be no flow resistance, measured at the engine filter, it will still put out 3 1/2 psi, I've regulated it down to just under 3. Martin.
