Hello,
my ex-boss approached me with the following question: Where and when was "british racing green" used first.
Who can say 'no' to his ex-boss? But as I am too stupid to answer that question, I am handing that issue now down to you - the people who are the ones to know, as they were brought up with that question.
I guess you all know, how the German race cars became part of the 'silver arrow' team. The German race cars simply did not fulfill the racing terms as to the weight limits. So overnight they were stripped of their original paint - down to their silvery aluminum body. That measure reduced the weight of the race cars by 10 kg.
But that does not answer my "brg'-question.
Kind regards, Dieter - from Germany.
