    BW 35 Oil Cooler

Any one know if the BW35 Gearbox oil cooler has rubber mounts (UKC2451) at both ends? mine has two on the left butjust bolts on the right, but Rimmers parts diagram shows four are required.

    Cheers, Chris.

I tried to fit them at both ends and had one shear off.

Got a new cooler and they have so far lasted about 5/6 years....may be the hole positions were more suitable?

A late post, I snapped mine off last week andraised this with EJWard - they fit longer bolts with a bit of fuel pipe tubing between, the idea being if the mount snaps the coller doesn't drop off, and this is what I did.I assume the rubber is to allow for chassis leg flex andto provide an angle to remove trapped air? Regardless I found it a pig to get bolts in and out.

Thanks for the replies, just been out and tried to replace all four, no way could I fit the left hand ones (cooler pipes foul on the mountings) so the bolts went back, did manage to fit the left hand two so hoping they will allow enough movement, time will tell.

Didn't look at Rimmers book. The parts manual shows only 2 on the LHS, thats all mine hadand thats all I fitted. Also my Stag is (was!) virtually untouched so assume they're original It also shows them located such that the LHS is lower than RHS, I assumed to ensure air wasn't trapped. Wards did mention the rubbers are the same as on petrol pump but I opted for their cheaper method.

Is that before and after? . I reckon the designer only considered assembly, its made to be assembled with cooler already attached to end brackets which is perhaps why one end is flexible for tolerance.
