STAG PWM971M Any ideas

Gent's just been going through my paper work and have found a reciept that should have been given to a Mr N Rott of Leister it is dated 16 / 6 / 01, The chassis number is LD329210.

God only knows how I have ended up with this reciept, but it was issued by Spring Grange Classics by a Mr Tony Scott, who I may have spoken to before regarding another matter.

Do's anyone know if Mr N Rott is a SOC member???, if so I'll send him his reciept

That registration number is no longer registered at DVLA so either the car has been scrapped or the subject of a reg number change.

Strange one this, as the guy paid big bucks for that car in 2001, but it may be wrong to say on the forum

If the receipt is for the car and the guy paid big bucks then a number plate change could be very likely and hence this number is no longer on DVLA. It could also have been in an accident. Who knows......

Agree with Nigel...... other option would be that it has fled the DVLA's area of responsibility to another country.... those €'s are strong these days !

'bout 1.2 € to the £ i think....... not as strong as they were a couple of months ago, but i was thinking a sale could have occured anytime since 2001 during one of the spells of strong €'s - along with quite a few other classics if the classic press is to be believed
