    Holley carb phenolic spacer

The holley carb to manifold adapter I made a while back didn't adjust for the 7 degree engine slant, so recently I bought a holly carb phenolic spacer and cut it in half at a 7 degree slope. Fitted ok and holly carb now level and runs surprisingly cool now it has more thermal isolation.

The question is, does anyone want the other half of the spacer that could also be used to do a similar job, with some gaskets either side of it.

    Hi Jon

What did you do about the fixing nuts? as they will nowbite on 1 edge and did you have to open the holes out?

I removed the studs, after marking their orientation, then bent them by 7 degrees by a few taps with a hammer and screw driver at then right spot, so they bend the right way for the space and new carb position

Good idea ,I thought you would have to do somethingor it might have broken the fixing flange of the carb.
