Stupidly I whipped out the distributor to retap one of the holes for an inlet manifold bolt and forgot to note which way round it came off. Any tips on how to refit it so the spark goes in the right direction. It was fine when it came off. Have marked the base so timing should be ok just need to get the drive in at the right angle. Hi Mike
Remember it is a helical gear so I think you start with the rotor arm pointing towards the carbs RH and it ends up pointing towards the coil bolt mentioned in the ROM.
I found it took a couple of goes before I was happy it was in the right place to start timing with the strobe.
