hi, i read all the tales of weather the stag fuel pump is better than the solid state pump, which was meant to be noisy. well i have now fitted a solid state pump{ along with a fuel return pipe, which should sort my vapour problems out}as you can see i made a bracket up to fit it to the old pump mounting, thus using the rubbers again, i can report that's it is totally quiet, i can only just hear it working when the engine is off.it is a lot quieter than the old pump. Is this type the one you have fitted? If so, which size?
