    Scum Bags

Took the Stag into town on Sunday to buy one of the Maplin electric winches, bought a parking ticket for £2 which wasent one of the sticky type so tucked it under a tweeter speaker Ive got fitted in each corner of the dash. Parking attendant comes along and is admiring the Stag and comments on the fact that he can see Ive got a ticket, nice car etc. Left the hood down and went into Maplins (20 feet away from where the Stag was parked) for about 10 mins, came out and some scum bag had nicked my ticket, it was only £2 but they would have have to have lent into the Stag to get it which annoys me more than anything. No problems with the attendants who acknowledged that I had bought a ticket and promised not to clamp my car whilst we visited a couple more shops but makes you realise once again what a cheap and nasty world we live in today.

Unbelievable! Why do a lot of people have no respect for other's property? The fact that someone had leant into the Stag would make me mad too. This sort of thing isa sad reflection on modern life...
Drive a Stag every day... it's wonderful!

Sadly its always been like that Dave. In my youth I had a Spitfire, I used to frequent a pub in centre of High Wycombe and regularly parked nearby top down. Usuually it was the aerial that got mangled but the discarded cigarette that burnt a hole in the seat angered me. A few months later someone decided the bonnet would look better keyed. Jealousy....

My Stag lives under a cover in a communal car park. There is a hedge between it ant the pavement. Some Sod keeps throwing his cigarette butts on the cover. I have well over a dozen small burn marks in the cover. So far I have been lucky in that A, the cover hasn't gone up in flames and B, it hasn't damaged the car at all.

What is it with some of these people, they just don't give a dam about anyone's cars or property. I took my sons car yesterday down to meet him off the bus as he was at T in the park. Nipped into Lidl's for a couple of bottles of wine. On my return was the back wing not dented, with what looks like a shopping trolley. Just paid 60 note last month having the same dent removed by Dent Devils guy. Really peed off, and my son hit the roof as you would imagine

I do think it is jealousy that drives these mindless morons .Last week I left the stag for about 15 mins in the supermarket car park with the hood down ,when I got back some one had spat there gum into the car

I have a remedy for these people but my wife says it is illegal

I often park the TR with the hood down but I always fit the tonneaux cover as I often found it was used as a skipKeeps the bird sh*t off the seat too, but I'm afraid the stag will have to take its chances.

At least nobody has nicked my parking ticket .....yet

I think John was referring to the roof you son had hit as in "my son hit the roof" rather than the damage caused your roof by the panel beaters.

                        Kind regards

Could the ticket have blown away in a strong gust of wind?!

When I had my TR, I came back to it after being in the pub to find the drivers seat soaked. Beer or p1ss...I couldn't tell.

You should really change the pubs you're drinking in if you can't tell the difference!
